Question One

What are the benefits to visiting a local beekeeping club?

If you are looking into becoming a beekeeper, one of the best ways it to find a mentor.  The SVBA is fortunate to have many members who have been beekeeping for decades.  Besides the education, we are a pretty fun group and we do look forward to meeting new people!

Question Two

Are there any specific benefits to becoming a SVBA member?

SVBA membership includes access to meeting minutes (which is helpful if you miss a meeting with a speaker whose topic is important to your business) as well as our help in promoting your business.  Hobby Beekeepers may find the rental of our honey extractor a benefit to keeping costs down.
